Health, Safety and Environmental Policy

The safety and welfare of our employees is our most important value and we are determined to operate our business so as to ensure that all our stakeholders; employees, sub-contractors and the communities in which we operate, are kept free of injury and illness.

We will achieve this by:

• The application of a practical, functional and effective health and safety management system with a detailed programme of objectives and targets and focus on continual improvement.

• As a minimum compliance with legislation including The Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999, Construction (Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1996, The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2007 and all other applicable regulations, Codes of Practice and standards.

• Ensuring that all employees, sub-contractors and clients understand and endorse our vision of ‘Safety First’.

• The elimination and control of hazards.

• Ensuring that all incidents are fully and transparently investigated and appropriate measures taken to prevent a recurrence.

• Undertaking regular audits and inspections of our work sites.

• Empowering all employees and sub-contractors to cease work where there is a threat to safety, through communication and co-operation.

• Providing training, education and information to our employees to assist them in their roles and responsibilities.

• Communicating clearly and practically company policies, site requirements, hazard awareness, controls and guidance.

All employees and sub-contractors are required to:
• Carry out their work in accordance with our safety rules and requirements and ensure controls are implemented accordingly.

• Report any incident which generates an actual or potential injury.

• Stop work where there is a threat to the safety of themselves or others.

Quality Assurance Policy

PMRIG Properties and Construction Limited is committed to providing the highest quality service possible. This will be achieved by understanding our clients’ need and through the application of appropriate processes and techniques. We will endeavor to improve our systems of work and service delivery to achieve customer satisfaction. The management of PMRIG is responsible for the development of Quality Assurance policies and procedures and shall ensure that appropriate resources for their effective implementation are provided. The principle operational responsibility for ensuring Client satisfaction and for complying with the Company’s policies and procedures lies with line management. However, all employees are responsible for compliance to procedures.

PMRIG shall appoint competent personnel to provide support, guidance and monitoring to ensure that the company complies with this policy. We shall also provide the necessary information, instruction, training and supervision to ensure that employees are able to discharge their duties effectively.

In order to meet our commitments, we will;
• Ensure compliance with legal, statutory and regulatory requirements;

• Ensure compliance with standards;

• Know our customers and have a complete understanding of their needs;

• Recognized each employee’s responsibility for quality;
